Introduction#
Bitfinex is a cryptocurrency exchange founded in 2012, headquartered in Hong Kong.
The main advantage of Bitfinex is that USDT transfers are free of charge. USDT is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar and is very popular in cryptocurrency trading. The exemption from USDT transfer fees makes Bitfinex an attractive option for traders to deposit and withdraw funds.
Bitfinex also collaborates with OpenPayd financial company to provide personal bank accounts for its premium account users. This allows Bitfinex users to more easily convert their cryptocurrencies into fiat currency and withdraw them to their bank accounts in their own name.
Registration#
After opening the registration link, enter your email, username, and password, then click register. You will then be redirected to create a 2FA token; after binding the 2FA token, you can log in to your newly registered Bitfinex account.
Log in to the main page to complete the basic account verification before you can use the transfer or withdrawal functions. Fill in the following information to complete the basic verification.
Contact Information: Fill in your name and phone number; domestic numbers may not receive verification codes.
Address Information: Fill in your residential address and provide proof of billing address, which must show your name and address; company name addresses are not accepted.
Identity Information: Acceptable forms include ID card, passport, and driver's license.
Financial Questionnaire: Fill in your normal salary level and upload a bank statement, which cannot be the same as the address proof. Fill in the source of funds truthfully.
KYC Declaration: Handwrite your electronic signature; writing in pinyin is acceptable.
After completing the basic verification, go to the Bitfinex wallet withdrawal page, click on Tether tokens, select USDT, and choose the TRC20 protocol. Enter the withdrawal address, check the "No" remark, and click request withdrawal. After manual review by Bitfinex, the wallet will deduct 10 USDT, and the withdrawal address will receive 10 USDT with no transfer fees.
