Introduction

Torn City is a text-based MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) developed by a British team, without Chinese language support. The game is set in a fictional dark and dangerous city in the United States (Torn City).
Players start as newcomers from the bottom and must survive and grow in this city through various means:
From street thugs to business tycoons: robbery (mugging), scams, running companies; career choices are entirely up to the player's imagination.
Gang conflicts and territory disputes: form gangs with other players to fight for control of the city, gaining a sense of achievement through cooperation and combat.
Investment and real estate: accumulate wealth through stock trading, real estate rentals, casinos, lotteries, etc., to become a true millionaire.
Freedom#
In Torn City, there is no strict main storyline; players can develop their characters at their own pace and interests. Whether players want to become cunning con artists, ruthless mob bosses, or business experts, they can achieve it in the Torn game.
Economic System#
The economic system of Torn City is entirely determined by the market (fully player-driven): players can not only speculate in the market, engage in international trade (flying flowers), and buy stocks, but also run companies to maximize profits through employee management and strategic planning.
Combat System#
The combat system is one of the core gameplay elements of Torn City. Players can equip weapons and enhance attributes to help their gangs seize territory or rob other players.
Chase Mechanism#
Torn City has a global server, where both new and old players have the same energy bar (E value). Players consume E value when attacking and improving attributes in the gym. This means that when veteran players recklessly attack new players, they will miss the opportunity to enhance their attributes and can easily be caught up by new players.
Social Interaction#
Torn City has a large player community, active gangs, and a trading system (not through the market), a bounty system, and a marriage system among players.
Summary#
Torn City is a nurturing sandbox game that does not require excessive grinding or spending, making it very suitable for long-term play to alleviate the monotony of life. Additionally, it is not recommended to register and log in using IPs from mainland China and Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, as the GMs in the game are British and may hold certain biases against the Chinese community influenced by the media.
